For most people, cutting boards are the epitome of functional items—they do their job and then they go into the dishwasher. But your cutting boards can also work as décor pieces!
Here are some creative designs for hand cutting and creating your own gorgeous cutting boards.

Shop or create your own cutting board with your home state (or just one you like). You can prop these up on display or use them as a serving tray on the coffee table.
Maybe you love surfing, hiking in the mountains or photography. If you’re handy with woodworking tools, you can carve the board into a surfing wave or mountain shape, then use a wood burning tool to create little details.
