Using linen spray in your home may seem like an indulgence, but this easy-to-make solution can improve your life in more ways than one! Lavender is the perfect ingredient for a linen spray because it helps you relax and get a better night’s sleep. Who couldn’t use that?
Plus, lavender’s antibacterial and antifungal properties will naturally keep your sheets fresh and clean. The best part? It only takes about five minutes to make.
Here’s what you’ll need to make your own homemade lavender linen spray. (Full instructions below.)
In a small bowl, mix 4 ounces of rubbing alcohol and 40 drops of lavender essential oil.
Add 2 cups distilled water.
Note: It’s important to only use distilled water (a type of purified water that has been stripped of all natural minerals). You can find distilled water at your local supermarket.
Use a small funnel to pour the aromatic solution into a spray bottle. Shake well!
Spray on furniture, curtains and linens anytime they could use some freshening!
