If you’ve got old, nasty wallpaper in your home that needs to be removed, there’s an easy DIY mixture that'll make the job a whole lot easier.

Simply mix equal parts vinegar (you can use cider vinegar or regular white vinegar) and water into a spray bottle. Open a window in the room you’re working in to combat the potent vinegar smell, then saturate the wallpaper with the mixture. Let it soak for several minutes. We highly recommend fixing yourself a tasty cocktail while you wait.

When you start scraping the paper and the tacky glue should come right off! The acid in the vinegar acts as a solvent to remove the glue holding the wallpaper to the wall.
